Live Oak School:                                         Interactive Hallways + Learning Center

Location: San Francisco, CA   Completed: 2012

The generous proportions of the existing hallways at this K-8 independent school had led to years of haphazard use and the accumulation of random furniture and equipment.  The proposed design creates flexible use of the space by providing a variety of seating options as well as display space for student functions.  The Learning Center provides a dedicated quiet space for students with learning differences to work one on one with learning specialists and fellow students in a space designed to facilitate focused attention without distraction.
